As Utah Tech University prepares to welcome students for the 2026–27 academic year this fall, I am filled with gratitude, pride, and optimism for the future we are building together.
The 2025–26 academic year was one of extraordinary achievement for our students, faculty, and staff. From the success of our Utah Tech Trailblazer athletic programs to inspiring performances in the arts, music, and dance, our campus has been energized by the support of the incredible Southern Utah community. Every game attended, performance applauded, and campus event celebrated reflects the partnership that makes Utah Tech truly Southern Utah’s university.
At Utah Tech, we know higher education changes lives. Through hands-on learning, personalized support, and strong connections with industry and community partners, our students are preparing to lead in healthcare, business, education, engineering, the arts, and emerging technologies. As a comprehensive polytechnic university, we continue to expand academic opportunities to meet the workforce needs of our region and beyond.
Looking ahead, there has never been a more exciting time for Utah Tech University. Later this year, we will launch Uniting Trailblazers: Strategic Plan 2030, a bold vision that will guide our university’s future and strengthen our impact across the region. Alongside this effort, we are preparing a comprehensive fundraising campaign dedicated to student success, academic excellence, and expanded opportunities for generations of Trailblazers to come.
